In accordance with article 11 of the 117/89 & 11(I)2018  Law, a fund has been established in order to promote and ultimately achieve the goals formulated within the existing legislation. Donations, funding and bequests are placed into the fund in order to be given to those in need of financial support. The fund is managed by the Committee for the Protection of the Persons with Intellectual Disabilities. In order to ensure the fund is managed in the most effective way possible, the Committee issues certain regulations which are then approved by the Minister of Labour, Welfare  and Social Insurance. Such regulations were issued in 1990.
