The budget of the Committee for the Protection Of Persons  with Intellectual Disabilities is provided through state funding that is allocated to it according to chapter 15.06, article 04.088 (Regular expenses). In line with the given procedure the budget is submitted to the Cyprus Cabinet and the Parliament via the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, Department of Social Inclusion of People with Disabilities. The Department is then in charge of monitoring expected expenses, paying out salaries and seeing to the Committee’s other financial responsibilities.
